In the old days, you could mute, change the channel or even turn off the TV if you didn't want watch all the political ads. Now, there are every where! I hadn't been on Facebook in a while and would you know it, lots of political ads. Went to YouTube and 4 of the videos I wanted to see had political ads before them. I will say, the production quality is getting better, but the message is still the same.
